Minis & Juniors | Avonvale RFC

Avonvale RFC offers a vibrant and inclusive Mini and Juniors rugby section that caters to boys and girls aged 5 to 17 years.

We welcome all abilities, allowing us to enhance the sporting experience.

Avonvale is a vibrant, family first club at the heart of our community that will foster the growth and development of rugby in Bathford, whilst providing learning opportunities in a safe, equitable and child friendly environment.

TRAIN WITH US

Training & Fixtures:
The rugby season runs from September to April.
Minis (ages 5-11) train and play on Sunday mornings from 10am to 11am
Youth (ages 12-17) train and play on Sundays from 10am with additional evening sessions scheduled as needed.
All sessions are subject to weather and pitch conditions.

Location:
Home training and matches take place at Avonvale Rugby Club, located in Bathford, Bath

What to Bring:
Water bottle, appropriate sportswear, and rugby/football boots (preferably studded).
A gum shield is required for contact training and matches.

As rugby is an all-weather sport, waterproofs and warm clothing are recommended for both players and spectators.

Volunteers:

Our rugby club is built upon our amazing volunteers who help with the administration, cooking, coaching and other support functions. Contact Aaron or George to get involved. Please do consider whether you may be able to help within the kitchen providing bacon rolls on training days, and food for teams on match days - if every parent helped in the kitchen for one day a season, then it can remain open every week!

Kit:

We have a fantastic playing shirt which will be introduced this season.

They are available for loan which is secured with a £30 deposit that's refunded on return of the shirt in a reusable condition.
