I have been playing rugby since I was 13 and absolutely love playing and watching the sport. Since being at University I have played as part of the team for 3 years and I am super excited to carry on my experience with Avonvale Ladies.

Taking up coaching with Bath Spa University Women's rugby I noticed a lack of teams in the area of Bath who could help support those playing once they leave university. With the help of these fantastic women we have together successfully formed Avonvale Ladies in the hope that Women in the Bath area are given the opportunity to experience the sport we love.

I first started playing rugby at university 3 years ago and have fallen in love with the sport. I was lucky enough to be chosen to captain my university team in my third year and be apart of the amazing team at BSUWRFC. But as my uni experience comes to an end I’m very excited to be apart of the new Avonvale Ladies team and help build women’s rugby in the area, hopefully helping to allow more women and girls fall in love with sport just like I have.

I only started playing rugby at university in 2020 but I immediately fell in love with the sport and I’m so excited to progress my rugby experience at Avondale Ladies.

I played rugby briefly when I was younger but the opportunities were limited. Fortunately, University has allowed me to fully immerse myself into the sport, and it truly is such a thrilling game to be a part of. I’ve had the honour of playing for Bath Spa and UWE; both have been incredible experiences which have taught me a lot about rugby. I’m excited for the time ahead at Avonvale and looking forward to the start of a fab season.
